Curriculum and Enrichment

Curriculum

Our primary goals are to encourage our students to follow their curiosity for learning, gain self-confidence, and form relationships with friends.

Our curriculum includes projects centered around literacy, current events, and the interests of our students. We design our classrooms with different high-interest centers devoted to art, science, imaginative play, and block-building.

Little Acorn also engages students with outdoor, nature-centric learning activities and a focus on early STEAM education.

Our curriculum empowers children and sets them up for successful next steps in their education. We weave music, art, letter writing, and number recognition into the daily activities offered at Little Acorn. We like to think of ourselves as 'facilitators of learning' who help students dive into topics that spark their interest, and enjoy the fun of learning.
